Ana Gonzales bio
Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson is a Mexican musician who was born into a musical family. She grew up listening mostly to traditional music, boleros from the past in addition to classic ranchero and romantic ballads. Ana loves the opera and tango genres as well as any form of dramatic performance. She was taught by her mother to sing, however she started an intensive training in vocals by Flavio Belcerra, who was 16 at the time when his name was known as a famous Mexican opera tenor. At the School of Music of Guadalajara University and the School of Sacred Music of Toluca in Mexico continued her music education. As a student and young professional, she performed with several chamber groups and opera choruses throughout Guadalajara and Mexico City. After 2000, she moved into the United States and sang with the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus. In 2007, she re-located to her new home in Southern California. She performs solo Latin American music for private celebrations and in the Ensemble XXI in Redlands. as a music teacher and musician, she is committed to numerous community projects because of her passion and passion for music. Ana is also previously a member of Community Chorus of Redlands as and an active member of Inland Master Chorale and Performance Loft. Ana feels privileged to be able to share her love of traditional Latin American music. She hopes this can inspire younger generations of musicians to keep the traditional music living.
